Prof. Nnanna is the Chief Economist at the Development Bank of Nigeria PLC, leading Research, M&E, Capacity Building, and Sustainability with over two decades of experience across U.S. and Nigerian banking, industry, and academia, attaining tenured Professor at Oklahoma State.
He is the author of 100+ peer-reviewed publications, an editorial board member (Society for Corporate Governance of Nigeria), a contributor to EIB’s Banking in Africa (2020), and author of Banking in Nigeria: Financing during Turbulent Times (2021).
Prof. Nnanna is a macroeconomics and development finance thought leader, advisor to DBN’s board and management, inducted as Senior Member of CIBN (2022); holds multiple degrees in accounting and economics, executive training from Rice, LSE, and Oxford, and memberships in NES and AEA.
